Biography
Celia O'Hare, BA MB BCh BAO, MRCPsych, TRIL Clinic Doctor / Research Fellow. Graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2006 with an honours degree in medicine. Celia completed basic specialist training in Psychiatry on the Dublin University (Trinity College) Psychiatric Rotational Training Programme between 2007 and 2011. During this time she gained clinical experience in diverse psychiatric sub-specialities including Liaison Psychiatry in St. James Hospital and in the National Forensic Mental Health Service. She spent a six month period as Trinity College Dublin Clinical Tutor to fourth and final year medical students and has experience in psychotherapy including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Over the six months prior to joining TRIL she worked in the Psychiatry for the Elderly service in St. James Hospital. Celia has a special interest in the social determinants of health with particular focus on mental health and its interplay with physical health outcomes.
